Stephen is a Certified Financial Planner^™ and is also licensed in life and health insurance. He entered the financial planning industry after graduating from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a degree in economics and finance.

Steve has been married to his high school sweetheart, Dana, since 1988. They have a daughter, Lindsay (Senior Director of Partnerships for a literacy company), her husband, Hunter, and two grandchildren, Riley and Jackson. They also have a son, Stephen (Project Manager), his wife, Lauren, and their five dogs.

Steve enjoys hiking, fishing, and hunting with his son, and the family makes it a point to visit a different part of the country each year. His favorite place to relax, however, is the cabin they own in the Lake Placid region of the Adirondack Mountains.
